2017 Boldly Lead Board
We our proud to announce our 2017 Leadership Team. The Leadership Team is made up of a range of class years and disciplines.
The chairs will organize volunteers into committees. The committees will focus on their area of expertise and report back to leadership. Within these committees, we will cultivate additional leaders. We will select new leadership at the end of each year from our committees for the following year.
Shannon Baylis Sarino ‘99 VWIL
Major: Mass Communications

Present Day: Program outreach coordinator for a Department of Defense agency that administers grants to nurse researchers. Live in Rockville, Maryland, with my husband, three kids, and two dogs.
Michele Lastovica Bronnenberg ‘97

Present Day: Early Intervention Service Coordinator for Chesterfield County Infant Program; Lives in Bon Air, Virginia with husband, two children, and two greyhounds; Girl Scout member and volunteer in my daughter’s troop.

Present Day: Completed MBA at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Currently working as Collaboration and Talent Management Solutions CFO at IBM. Lives in the West End of Richmond, VA with fiancée Roxanne, son Sawyer, and two dogs.

Present Day: Living in Atsugi, Japan with husband of 4 years, who is stationed with the Carrier Air Wing Group. We have one fur baby. Teaching English at a Japanese high school. Daisy Girl Scout Leader and Cookie Manager. Youth cheerleading coach.

Present Day: I am a government contractor, specializing in SharePoint Administration & Development and Knowledge Management working with DoD clients including Headquarters Marine Corps (Pentagon) and SPAWAR. I live in Charleston, SC with my boyfriend and two dogs.

Present Day: Ordained Minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), currently working at GenOn Ministries. Speaker at many youth conferences and Presbyterian Women conferences. Volunteer at local church. Lives in Charlottesville, VA with husband Evan and two kids, Calvin and Maggie

Ayden Petrone, '06

Present Day: Ayden has been working, volunteering, and advocating in the Social Work field since 2006 in the areas of LGBTQ youth/adult matters, homelessness, and serious mental illness.
Ayden is married to their wife, Sarah, and just welcomed their first child, Byrch, into the world in April 2017. In Ayden’s free time, they enjoy swimming, spending time with friends, and cooking.
